Thursday 25th May 2017
Oracle Customer Visit Centre
This is a Public event
In today’s fast changing highly connected world, with people switching off from the bombarding of emails, how do you get your message across, what is effective and what doesn’t work?
Has your company set aside a day for “no email”? One accountancy firm did and found that it drove better client engagement…
Of course different solutions work in different organisations. You need to know what is possible.
Two experts will share their experiences, tips and techniques – one from the BCS and one from the IoD. The BCS speaker will be Ruben Bell, Communications Manager for BCS Berkshire. Ruben graduated in Aberdeen with an honours degree in Management and Marketing and has gone on to work for industry leaders such as Coca-Cola and Unipart Group in a variety of roles focused on cultural change, transformations, marketing and communications in the digital world. Of Scandinavian heritage, Ruben speaks Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.
The IoD speaker will be Cathy Jenkins, who is a Director of MAXX, a creative communications agency working with fast-growth businesses, charities and in education. For more information, see the IoD web site .
This is the latest in a series of biannual unconferences run by BCS ELITE and the Institute of Directors in Berkshire and hosted by Oracle at their UK headquarters in Thames Valley Park, Reading. Their purpose is to enable businesses and technology leaders to share what works and what doesn’t.
