Palmer Building University of Reading

This is a Public event

Each year in March, BCS Berkshire joins with the BCS Young Professionals Group, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, IMechE, IChemE and Reading University to put on the Great Debate, in which eminent speakers present on a matter of topical interest and answer questions from the audience. The event is part of British Science Week.

You can read about the last one here.

This year’s debate is on another green topic: Autonomous Electric Vehicles.

It starts at 7pm and admission is free, however this is a popular event which attracts up to 400 people to one of the University’s largest auditoria, so early arrival (6.30-6.45) and advance booking are strongly advised. Reading University require all attendees to use this link to book.

Look out for the BCS Berkshire’s stand at the main door. We shall be there to direct you.
